Lung Cancer Awareness Month

With November being Lung Cancer Awareness Month 2018 and World COPD Day on 21 November, we want our community to be aware that smoking is a major cause of both conditions.

What is COPD?
Chronic Obstructive Pulmunary Disease is a condition which gets worse over time, causes chronic coughing with mucus, wheezing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. COPD is a major risk factor for lung cancer.

If you’re a smoker and want to kick the habit, book in for a FREE smoking cessation session at our Gudja Garawan (Bad Smoke) Clinic.

Sessions are available for booking every Friday between 10am – 6pm at Yerin Eleanor Duncan Dental Clinic (37 Alison Road).

To book, call Kylie Wheeler on 02 4351 1040.
