Overview of Position
The role of the Youth AOD Caseworker is to enhance the wellbeing of young people on the NSW Central Coast, Darkinjung country, by working with young people, community and service providers to develop approaches and strategies that engage and meet the needs of young people.
To be successful for this role you will have:
- Qualifications and / or related experience working with young people with alcohol and/or drug issues.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering strengths and evidence-based interventions, with a clear understanding of empowering young people to independence and autonomy, free from dependence on alcohol or other drugs.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Police check clearance.
- Working with Children’s Check.
