Ear health and NDIS

Oral Health

Whilst poor oral health can cause pain and affect your everyday life, good oral health maintenance is also important for your general health. Poor oral health is linked to cardiovascular disease, strokes and diabetes.

Yerin helps clients access dental services in Wyong and Gosford. This can include:

  • Dental check-ups
  • General dental treatments – fillings, cleanings, x-rays, root canal treatments and extractions
  • Dentures.

Contact us on (02) 4351 1040 to see if you are eligible for Yerin’s Oral Health program.

If you are a concession card holder or a child (up to 18), you can receive free dental care through the Public Dental Service. Phone 1300 789 404 to arrange an appointment.

Ear Health

Ear infections are common in small children. They can be very painful and if untreated, can lead to hearing loss and learning problems due to impaired hearing.

Yerin has a healthy ear program for children up to 18. This program includes:

  • Ear screenings
  • Referrals to primary health care services
  • Education and awareness around preventing ear diseases
  • Referrals to Dhanggan Gudjagang Team (link)
  • Liaising between doctors and other services.

Contact us on (02) 4351 1040 to find out more or to book your child in for a hearing test.
